John Marty has collectively spent more than 6 years with 97.5 (WABB & WABD) and there’s no place he’d rather be than the Gulf Coast!
Originally a Birmingham boy, John spent a good portion of his radio career hosting top rated morning shows in New Orleans and Biloxi, but being able to entertain in the city of Mobile is special. John’s father was born and raised in Mobile (A Murphy grad) the Marty roots are deep in the city’s history, and the city was the backdrop for some of his favorite childhood summer memories!
John loves all things football, especially Auburn, though he has been known to cross lines and root for whichever SEC team is in the Championship Game. He spends his free time Snap Chatting WAY too much, but also enjoys boating, paddle-boarding and traveling to New Orleans to visit his fiance, Stacey, and their heavily spoiled cat, Thomas.

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done? Having to tell my Dad I was going to Auburn. He went to the University of Alabama so needless to say when he heard the news we didn’t speak for a while. (Made that 1st Thanksgiving quiet and awkward.)
Are you married w/ children? No… and no! I’ve been engaged to the love of my life, best friend and New Orleans native Stacey Brady for longer than I care to admit.
When are you two planning on “tying the knot?” We keep trying to figure that out but unless some rich relative wants to pay for it we may just have to elope?
Likes: Sleep, Adult Beverages w/ good conversation and New Orleans Saints Football.
Dislikes: Being tired, last call and the end of football season.
Is there a food you could eat EVERYDAY? Rasing Canes Sauce! I swear if they put vodka in it I would drink it like a shot!
What Drink(s) do you consume daily? Strong coffee, Ice cold beer, Ice cold Diet Coke and I never miss a “Super Orange” Emergen-C!
