A lot of people swear by “Downton Abbey” and you generally picture those people as being quite sophisticated and classy.  This guy SHATTERS that image.

30-year-old Branden Joseph Deel of Columbus, Ohio is, apparently, addicted to stealing “Downton Abbey” DVDs

He was arrested for shoplifting 12 “Downton Abbey” box sets back in January of 2014 and did a few months in jail.  When he got out in August, he stole MORE “Downton” DVD sets and got put back in jail earlier this year.

He eventually got out . . . and last month he was back at it, shoplifting MORE box sets.  He got away before the cops showed up . . . so now they’re on a manhunt for him.

A city prosecutor says, quote, “I can’t say whether Mr. Deel is binge watching ‘Downton Abbey’ or selling the box sets for drug money, but I at least give him credit for having better taste than most thieves.”

He’ll be facing several counts of theft when they catch him.
