A class-action lawsuit has been filed against a popular lip balm after users of the product say it caused blisters and rashes. Images released of what some say happened to them after using EOS lip balms shows a red rash around the mouth. Several woman have been speaking up about what they say are their negative experiences with the lip balm. They claim they’ve suffered blisters, rashes, and allergic reactions.
EOS Lip Balm is one of the most heavily advertised drugstore products on the market. According to Cosmopolitan Magazine, the company released a statement. It reads in part, “We firmly believe this lawsuit is without merit… The health and well-being of our customers is our top priority and millions of satisfied customers use our products every day, many of whom take the time to share their experiences with us.”
