Our solar system might officially have nine planets again soon, but not because of Pluto. Scientists think they’ve found a planet that’s bigger than Earth, and even farther away than Pluto, which was reclassified as a “dwarf planet” in 2006.
The researchers concluded that the planet, if it’s there, would be about 10 times the size of the Earth, or roughly three times larger. That would make it a super-Earth or mini-Neptune! How exciting!
