Serious structural damage was done to Grand Baroque apartments in Pensacola. Early reports suggest three buildings were “utterly destroyed” at Moorings Apartments in Pensacola, with injuries, people trapped and a reported gas leak. The search for potential injured is still underway at Moorings Apts. Six are confirmed injured so far, the extent of those injuries is still unknown.

Escambia County Fire and EMS report two buildings at the GE/Westinghouse plant off of Scenic Highway have been destroyed. 

Motorists are still asked to please stay off roads as possible.
