Congrats to Airbus Americas as they are finishing up its 1st U.S. manufactured commercial aircraft!
The JetBlue Airways A320 plane constructed inside the Mobile Airbus $600 million manufacturing plant at Brookley Field.
Ground tests are expected to begin shortly, and if they pass inspection, the plane will be delivered to JetBlue sometime this spring.
With 300 only employees currently assembling the 1st jets, the Mobile facility has plans to add up to 1,000 workers by the end of 2017 and roll out 4 planes per year!
