A 32 year-old Marion County, Tennessee woman was charged with child neglect for making her kids walk to school because they missed their school bus. Deputies came upon the mother slowly driving ahead of her children as they trudged to school in cold weather and heavy traffic on the side of the road. The kids walked for 1.5 miles and still had another two miles to go before reaching school. Cops stopped the mother and discovered that she did not have a valid driver’s license. She was placed under arrest.
