A pilot for Qantas proposed to his girlfriend in the middle of a flight recently.  Over the intercom, for everyone to hear.  (She was flying from Australia to South America to visit her family, and he was flying the plane… and he comes back from the cockpit and gives her a ring after he proposes!)
