After a week of teasing us with an image that appeared to be a naked cyborg version of herself, Taylor Swift dropped her new video for “…Ready For It?” last night.  It wasn’t over or underwhelming.  It was all the “new” Taylor Swift.

Swifties came out of every corner of the internet to claim the video is clearly in response to her relationship to Calvin Harris.  I could explain how they came to that conclusion, but scrolling through all those posts hurt my head forever!  I will tell you that Rolling Stone wrote a great article that breaks down the secrets they found within the video.  Out of the 13 (yes, Tay’s favorite number) they’ve found, only one makes any reference to ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris.  Check out that article by clicking HERE.

Now that we’ve got the video for “….Ready For It,” we can look forward to the video for “Gorgeous” which Taylor dropped a few weeks ago.  Wow…she’s been busy!

No matter your thoughts on Taylor Swift you’ve got to give her credit.  She’s been the queen of reinvention and has seemingly flipped it on us again.  She’s headed towards another direction, and probably another $100 million dollars into her bank account.

Taylor’s new album “Reputation” is due out November 10th.
