Batgirl: Heartbreaking Way Directors Found Movie Was Canceled

On what should have been the happiest day of his life was the day he received the bad news.

Adil El Arbi, one of the directors of Batgirl, found out the day of his wedding in Morocco the film’s release had been canceled.

His co-director, Bilall Fallah was a guest at his wedding and was there for the bad news as well.

Batgirl had the plan of Michael Keaton returning as Bruce Wayne, or better known The Batman.

JK Simmons was also said to be in the movie as Commissioner Jim Gordon.

The two directors were expecting to finish edit the movie upon their return from Adil’s wedding
