Beyoncé Gifts Serena Williams Gatorade Instead of Flowers

As her days of retirement swiftly approach, Beyoncé celebrates Serena Williams in a different way.

Serena Williams started what is probably her last run at the US Open in New York City this week.

Beyoncé paid tribute to the tennis legend in a new commercial for the PepsiCo-owned brand Gatorade.

In the Gatorade advertisement “Love Means Everything,” Serena Williams is honored in a nearly two-minute television commercial.

So far, Williams has defeated Danka Kovini in the first round of the US Open (6-3, 6-3), and on Wednesday, she will play No. 2 Anett Kontaveit.

Along with her sister Venus Williams, Serena will take part in the doubles competition at the Grand Slam tournament.

Be sure to tune in for this moment in history.
