Twitter Calls For Sandra Bullock To Lose Her Oscar Over “The Blind Side” Controversy

Twitter holds a lot of wild takes and crazy opinions however this recent one involving Sandra Bullock may be one of the worst as people are agreeing that she should lose her Oscar because of all the controversy going on with “The Blind Side.”

It seems so crazy because because there is no evidence that Bullock had any idea of what was going on with Michael Oher and the rest of the Tuohy family during the time the same way no one else did.

One person said “So Sandra Bullock should have to give back her Oscar right, and man do we need to start checking these good feeling stories. The parents blocked $300 in earnings the movie from him getting any of it and gave the money to their real children? WOOOOOOOW!”

Another twitter user said “If the Michael Oher allegations are true then we have to go AND TAKE THE OSCAR back from Sandra Bullock and give it to Gabourey Sidibe for ‘Precious'” as well as “Sandra Bullock should give her Oscar back. She knows she didn’t deserve that s***.”

Some people chimed in to defend her stating “Not y’all calling for Sandra Bullock’s Oscar to be revoked. It ain’t her fault the real life people were exploitative scammers and thieves,” continued, “You know Sandra Bullock deserved her Oscar because she acted so well, she made the Tuohy family likeable.”

If you have not kept up with the story a quick run down of it is the NFL star says the Tuohy family never actually adopted him and instead put him on a conservatorship. He also says that the family made a lot of money off of his story from the hit movie “The Blind Side” where he ended up getting nothing.

However, Sean Tuohy has called BS on his story and says that was the only option to put him under a conservatorship because he was already 18 and the only way to make him part of the family and also stated that each family member made $14,000 from the movie which also included Michael Oher.
