Law enforcement say NFL athlete Caleb Farley’s dad, Robert Farley (61 years old) passed away in the home explosion.

A huge explosion at Caleb Farley’s house in North Carolina ended up with one person deceased and another left with injuries.

This tragic event happened Monday night in Mooresville, North Carolina, which reportedly he just purchased this multi million dollar home.

The county Fire Marshall Office spokesperson says that one person was dead at the scene and another was taken to the hospital but did not have any life threatening injuries. Caleb Farley was not a victim of this event.

There is still a investigation going on and are looking at the home’s natural gas lines first.

Caleb Farley was at the house Tuesday morning after the tragic event working with the authorities.

Farley is currently with the Tennessee Titans and still recovering from a back injury. He was the 22 overall pick in the 2021 draft and has seen the field for a total of 12 games.
