Justin Timberlake was criticized online for what fans say was a “fake” apology during his New York City performance.

Britney Spears apologized to Timberlake in her memoir, writing, “I wanna to apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book. Timberlake is facing backlash online after Pop Crave on X (formerly Twitter) posted a performance video with the caption, “Justin Timberlake while performing in New York City last night. ‘I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f**king nobody.'”

The video has outraged online viewers, who believed he mocked Spears after her apologies over the weekend.
