Nearly half a million Starbucks mugs are recently being recalled over safety concerns.

The ceramic mugs can overheat and break if microwaved or filled with “extremely hot” liquids. 

The mugs were sold in 2023 holiday-themed Starbucks gift sets manufactured by Nestlé and sold at Target, Walmart, and Nexcom.

12 injuries have been reported so far.

Customers should stop using the mugs and return them to the place of purchase,  or contact Nestlé USA for a full refund.
