Jay-Z Files Legal Notice Informing Potential Buyer That He Will Get ‘Reasonable Doubt’ Shares Back

Following the report that the federal government is auctioning off Dame Dash’s shares in Roc-A-Fella, Jay-Z’s legal team has issued a legal notice stating that the shares will revert to Shawn Carter in the next 7 years.

At the moment, the copyright to the album and every song on it belongs to Roc-A-Fella.

However, according to a notice issued by Jay-Z’s attorneys, these rights will return to Shawn Carter in 2031.

This implies that whoever wins the stake at auction from Dame will own it for seven years, after which Hov will own it forever.
