André 3000 collaborated with Kanye West on the track ‘Life Of The Party’ for the album Donda, but the song was initially left off the album due to disagreements over censorship.

The reason was that Kanye West wanted to exclude curse words from the album, leading André 3000 to offer to be removed from the song if his verse couldn’t remain intact.

André credited Drake for the song’s eventual release, stating, “So, I kinda have to thank Drake for letting that song see the light of day.”

Ye also included a diss towards Drake in the song, which André 3000 was aware of and spoke with Kanye about, expressing his concerns.
