Madonna became emotional during her Celebration Tour show in Antwerp, Belgium, on Sunday night (October 22) as she shared her time in the ICU earlier this year with fans.

The pop idol was performing her sixth show on the UK and Europe tour when she became visibly emotional and shed tears while discussing her hospitalization during the summer.

In June, the singer caused quite a stir in the entertainment world when she was hospitalized for several days due to a severe bacterial infection.

“I was given another chance, so I’m very grateful for that,” she said in a shaky voice. “Less than four months ago, I was in the hospital, and I was unconscious, and people were thinking, predicting that I might not make it…it’s a f***ing miracle I’m here right now.”
