Recently, Mariah Carey has been hit with a lawsuit in court for her beloved Christmas tune by the two guys who contend they wrote the song.

Andy Stone and Troy Powers are suing Mariah Carey again and seeking $20 million in damages.

The lawsuit, which is almost exactly the same as the one from the previous year, stated that Mariah ripped off their song when it became popular and even reached the Billboard charts during the 1993 Christmas season.

The documents stated that she allegedly copied everything about the song and “palmed off these works with her incredulous origin story, as if those works were her own.”
