Michael Keaton admits that Tim Burton hiring him was a risky move.

Keaton said on how he approached the role, “It was ALWAYS Bruce Wayne. You start with that. He witnessed the murder of his parents; that’s a lot to start with, especially if you take the Frank Miller approach, which was what we took.”

He added, “I was part of something that was a friggin game changer in terms of how they make those movies. That changed everything.”

He also added how people did not like him getting the role of Batman and it was a ‘ballsy move.’
