Mardi Gras Beads Used for Tasty Treat and Good Cause

All those beads you grabbed over the Mardi Gras season can be turned in for a tasty treat and a good cause.

For every 12 pounds of beads, you’ll get a dozen glazed doughnuts.

You can start turning in your beads Feb. 22-24.

All the beads are then donated to Augusta Evans School where they recycle them to help pay for academic needs.
