The price of Netflix’s popular streaming video service will be raising prices!  They initially offered the streaming service for just $7.99 but May 2014 the company began increasing the price to first to $8.99 and then to $9.99.

Netflix first reported that they would “grandfather” in customers that have been with them previous to the rate increase and wouldn’t be affected.

Now around 17 million people would see the $2-increase in their monthly Netflix bills beginning next month.
