Maryland is the latest state to deal with another school shooting. Great Mills HIgh School was on lockdown Tuesday morning as deputies and federal agents converged on the crime scene. As of this report (9:13amCST) there were three people reported injured.
The school district sad the situation was “contained” at the school around 7:46 AM EST.
There has been a Shooting at Great Mills High School. The school is on lock down the event is contained, the Sheriff’s office is on the scene additional information to follow.

The school is located about 65 miles southeast of Washington DC.
Local police are asking parents not to come to the school as it is an active crime scene and recovery efforts are under way.
We’ll update you as soon as we hear anything more.
Students are being evacuated from GMHS and being bused to the reunification center at the Leonardtown HS campus. The building is orderly and the Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation. We will continue to update as more information becomes available.
